Constanza Majluf is a Chilean filmmaker and actress; based in New York. The first time she walked onto a set was a part of the cast in the film "The Motorcycle Diaries” directed by Walter Salles, starring Gael Garcia Bernal. This marked the beginning of a career of over a decade dedicated to film, both in front of and behind the camera. Assistant Director in projects by acclaimed directors like Eli Roth (US), Vincenzo Marra (Italy), and Chilean directors Pablo Larrain, Sebastian Brahm, Cristian Jimenez, including renowned actors such as Keanu Reeves and Alfredo Castro.
She is currently enrolled in the MFA in Film at Columbia University in the city of New York; working on her thesis film “My Independence Day” (Katharina Otto-Bernstein Production Grant 2020) and writing her first feature film “Marcia Marcela Madre Mujer”. Her short film “Still” (2020) recently had its world premiere at the 37th Miami Film Festival and continues circuiting in festivals all around the world.
