Nicole Perlman

Nicole Perlman graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in May 2003, with a double-major in Dramatic Writing and Film Production. She received the Sloan Grant in 2001 for her screenplay, Challenger. Since then, Nicole has won the 2003 Script Magazine Open Door Contest and the 2003 20/20: Let’s Do Lunch screenplay contest. She won second place in the 2004 Applause Screenplay Competition, and was a finalist for the 2003 Screenwriter’s Forum Contest. Nicole is also currently a semifinalist for the 2005 Sundance Screenwriters’ Labs. Her personal essay, Nicotine and Chocolate Cake, won $500 will be published in 2005 in the anthology Damage Deposit: Stories from the Roommate Realm.
