Kati Nivelt Anguelov was born in Hungary where she studied fine arts. One day she decided to try her luck in the United States, where she permanently fell in love with animation. She earned her M.F.A. in animation and digital arts at the USC School of Cinema-Television. She continued her animation career at Disney Internet and at various independent projects. Currently she is a full-time instructor of animation at the Art Institute of Orange County and a happy mother of a 7-month-old boy.
